Summer rain is part of the Florida lifestyle and by now we are used to it. But seriously, it can start to feel like cabin fever after the 4th day of straight rain. Indoor play places are definitely a must to get the energy out and encourage physical activity, however, sometimes, it is just so nice to sit in the cool air and be entertained at the same time our kiddo's are. Am I right? No guilt needed here. Just fun entertainment!
There is no shortage of summer movies playing at either libraries, movie houses, drive-in's, and outdoor movie night locations.
This weekly list consists of free or cheap movies.
Yep! It's simple! Fun, affordable and plenty of family time. If you don't want to go out, pick a movie on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Vudu, or Redbox, and the list goes on. Get some pillows and blankets, and use a push pin to put some sheets up on the ceiling to create a fort like atmosphere. Pop the popcorn, make root beer floats (A&W has an amazing box available!) and have an entertaining night in. Making family memories does not have to be expensive or elaborate. Just be present. <3
